Work kicks ass...my ass. I am so tired; I just want a break. This week I have forgotten so many important things. Work things, friend things, and personal things. I am too stressed and fried to remember anything. Grrrr…
Today, I learned that the East Nashville shooting was directly related to a nearby neighbor. The shooting was related to a drug deal gone sour. Luckily, last I heard, the fuck-heads were caught. Hmmm…a little freaked. Also, here is a low down on some of our other neighbors to add to the freakfest: *A guy that used to own a hard rock/metal music club who is obsessive-compulsive insomniac who has a unique method for going to sleep (getting piss ass drunk, taking a few sleeping pills, and smoking pot). He lives above us. Almost every weekend there is a 4AM party on Friday and Saturday. And he has friends with hard soled shoes...STOMP STOMP. *A guy who owns his own decorating store and likes to garden. He planted some really pretty roses in front of our apartment that I enjoy smelling everytime they bloom. He recently told us about his latest drama: housing a coke addict that eventually stole about $20,000 and the coke addict, to get money for his habit, sold two rental cars. We are lucky, very lucky, that the cokehead didn’t rob us. Anyway, that neighbor is really cool. *And a guy who cheated on his girl…motherfucker. At the end of every lovemaking session with his mistress, this guy would sing opera songs for 30 minutes. Who does that? Fortunately, this joker recently moved out.
I have special neighbors. What's life without spice?

| Wicky wicky wack.
I went to a kick ass event tonight...the WMTS & WRVU Benefit Show at the 5 Spot. Bands included: Aireline, The Lylas, The Carter Administration, The Mattoid, and Imagine Asians.
My friend told me about the benefit show and let me tell you, I am so happy he did. I would have been greatly disappointed if I missed the two bands I had the honor of listening to. I came in around the beginning of Emery Reel and stayed through The Mattoid.
However, the last band (The Carter Administration) wasn't my cup of tea, so when my friend was ready to go, I left too.
Thanks!
Also, since I got home, I have been listening to WMTS (88.3) via the internet. Great station! Listen to it if you want your ears to be happy with you. |
